TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please take time to read through this section. By submitting a form and booking a service with Suzanne Strain Wilshaw (Stylist), you (The Client) agree that you and all members within your booking are covered by the following terms and conditions.
Booking Fee
Dates cannot be held provisionally and a non-refundable booking fee of £70.00 is required to secure a wedding date. A booking fee payment relates to cost associated with time spent on correspondence, admin and paperwork for each client booking, including holding your data secure and declining all subsequent enquiries for your date.
The booking fee is not a cost associated with styling. The booking fee is built into the total cost of your Wedding Hair and is deducted from your final amount payable.
Payment
Trials are to be paid in full on or before the date of the trial.

Final Balance to be paid at least one week before your Wedding Day.
Minimum Pricing
The final amount payable, as outlined in your booking confirmation applies throughout, with the exception for additional addon styling, where the final amount will increase.
A minimum charge applies for wedding party styling and will be advised in your booking confirmation.
Travel Expenses
The client will cover any necessary travel expenses and accommodation (if needed).
This will include parking charges or toll fees. These costs will be outlined in your booking confirmation.
Changes to Original Booking
If client wishes to make a change to their original booking, changes will be reviewed with reasonability/ travel distance /timing etc taken into consideration before a new agreement is made.
If client makes a significant change to the booking, for example; the getting ready location is changed to a significantly more distant location from was originally stated and therefore unmanageable for the stylist, this would be treated as a cancellation (policy below). How changes are dealt with ultimately depends on the significance of the change to the original booking.
Cancellations by the Client
You reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time. Please note, the following charges will apply;

Should you wish to move your wedding date for any reason, one complimentary date change will be offered for the new date. If date changes for a second, third, fourth day, an admin fee of £25.00 will apply for each date change. If I'm unavailable on any new dates, the following will apply;

Should you wish to change getting ready location from what was originally agreed and I am unable to travel to your new location for example, excessive travel distance, the following charges will apply;

If you need to cancel your booking due to an emergency or a circumstance out of your control, your booking fee can be transferred to 1 new date without charge. If I'm not available on new date, you lose your non-refundable booking fee.

If you cancel 8 weeks before your wedding date, the total balance of 50% will have to be paid due to the late notice and it is too late for me to offer the date to someone else.
If you cancel your hair within the 8 weeks leading up to your date, 75% of the total balance needs to be paid.

Cancellations by the Stylist
In the event that I am unable to attend your booking due to illness, injury, personal emergency or circumstance beyond my control, I will endeavour to source a replacement stylist. However, this cannot be guaranteed and if I'm unable to replace with a stylist, you will receive a full refund including booking fee, less any trial costs already paid for.

- I reserve the right to refuse / cancel a booking if payment is not received / incorrect information is given by the client at the time of booking, contact cannot be made or a booking fee has not been paid for in order to reserve a date.

- I reserve the right to refuse to conduct styling on any member of the wedding party at a trial or on wedding day if client's hair is not deemed to be suitable or in healthy condition for styling. For example, contagious conditions such as head lice or chemically damaged.
In these instances, refunds will not be given.

Exclusivity
My exclusivity is not guaranteed on the day of your event as time and travel constraints are taken into consideration for each booking. For bookings of or more, there may be another stylist on hand.
Client Responsibilities
It is the responsibilities of the client to inform the stylist(s) of any issues that may effect the use of electrical hair styling equipment or hair styling products for all parties within the booking. This includes chemical treatments to hair, poor hair condition, prior damage to hair, sensitivities, allergies, any medical conditions etc.
I accept no liability for any loss or damage that is incurred due to the clients failure to inform me. I also refuse service to the client or any member of the party who may be deemed at risk.
Photography & Privacy
You agree that you and your hair, including everyone who is having their hair styled at trial and on day of event can be photographed and these photos can be used on stylist websites and social media, purely for business purposes. Information collected from you will be stored safely and used to carry out your instructions or to contact you. Under no circumstances will your information be passed onto a third party.

How to make a booking and reserve your wedding date.
When you submit a contact form, I will reply and let you know if I am available on your wedding date. Please check your junk folder if you don't receive a response.
Trials
Trials can take place from 10 weeks before wedding date. This appointment can be made at any time. It is a 90 minute appointment and takes place Monday to Wednesday mornings in my salon.
Travel
On the day of your wedding, I will travel to you. Please provide address and postcode of where you're getting ready on the morning of wedding to allow me to quote you an accurate travel cost. For weddings that require me to leave home earlier than 6am, and / or involve a lengthy travel time of over 90 minutes each way, an overnight stay at / near the venue may be required. Please inform me of any parking costs, tolls or restrictions.
I cover all areas in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland is travel and ceremony times allow it.
Large Parties
If you have a large party that requires a second stylist, additional costs might occur. In some cases, the second stylist might need paid directly.
If extra hair, extensions, clip ins, weaves or bonds are being used on the trial and / or on the day, it's important to let me know as extensions take longer to set and dress out. This could lead to additional costs that I don't want to ask for on the day of the wedding.
